Right now I'm a Computer Science major in my third year at Wesleyan University. I do research with Professors Norman Danner and Danny Krizanc (and Marc Liberatore of UMass Amherst) into practical attacks on Tor, the anonymity network.
I love programming languages, and I love functional programming. My preferred language at the moment is Python. I also know Java well, and I'm in various stages of learning Ruby (and Rails), Haskell, Scheme, Scala, JavaScript. I've also written simple programs in languages ranging from Assembly to Prolog.
Too many things in this world are either not beautiful or not functional. I want the things I make to be both. I especially love typography, and my favorite medium is the letterpress. I do lots of HTML and CSS, and know my way around Photoshop and Illustrator.
I have way too many interests to list here. I play soccer and badminton when I can, and I'm learning to fence. I'm a trumpet player. I'm an amateur photographer. History and politics fascinate me. I listen to music constantly.
